I grew up in Ontario where I did my undergraduate training in Life Sciences at Queen's University in Kingston followed by medical school at Western University in London. Afterward, I decided to head out west for my family medicine residency here at the University of Alberta. Since then, I have enjoyed being a locum physician here at Westgrove Clinic for the past three years, and look forward to now becoming a bigger part of your patient medical home as your family physician. Outside of my role here at Westgrove, I work at the downtown Edmonton Birth Control Centre where I provide sexual health services, the New Canadians Health Centre where I provide primary care to newcomers/refugees, and virtual care through AHS 811 HealthLink.
Dr. Zhang has taken over the majority of Dr. Genge's patients.
