Travel information

Travel injections or prescriptions are services not covered by Alberta Health Care.

Your first visit will include an appointment with the nurse to obtain a  prescription and the first injection as required. The fee for this is $50.00.

The subsequent visits for injections, usually a second and third appointment, are charged a fee of $25.00. 

There is a family rate of $150.00 for a family of four or more.

These visits are only required to be booked with the LPN. You are not required to see your physician.
