Gideon Gunawan, BSc Pharm.

I grew up in northeast Edmonton and completed two years of my Bachelor of Science degree at Grant MacEwan College (at the time) before transferring over to the University of Alberta for my third year of Science. I graduated from the University of Alberta in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and began working as a staff pharmacist for Rexall that same year. I worked in community pharmacy for 6 years before joining the Westview Primary Care Network as a clinic pharmacist in 2013. And that’s when I joined the great team at Westgrove Clinic! I’ve enjoyed every minute of it since, working with the great physicians, nurses and office staff here!

When I’m not at work I spend time with my lovely wife and 4 children. In the summer we love exploring the walking trails of Spruce Grove on foot or by bike and this year we got into Geocaching which is a blast for the whole family! In the winter we enjoy skating, tobogganing and building snow forts in our backyard!
