I graduated from the Misericordia School of Nursing in 1993. I worked at the Grey Nuns Hospital for the majority of my career in general surgery. Before joining the WestView Primary Care Network as a Behavioural Health Consultant, I was working at the Men’s Maximum Penitentiary in Edmonton, as a mental health nurse. It was there that I gained extensive knowledge and experience in working with client’s suffering mild to severe mental health disorders. I worked as part of a multi-disciplinary team that included Nurses, Psychologists, Physicians, Psychiatrists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, Dieticians and Correctional Officers.
I am the mother of three amazing children. My oldest daughter is currently enrolled in nursing at MacEwan University. I enjoy hiking and going to the mountains.
I am excited to be part of the WestView Primary Care Network and look forward to working in collaboration with other multi-disciplinary team members.
